FESTIVAL FAQ'S

Ticketing FAQs

While tickets are not mandatory, they help us ensure we provide the best possible guest experience through advanced planning and attendance projections! Also, we are proud to support KPU with partial proceeds headed to the KPU Alumni association.  Thank you for your continued support! Can’t wait to see you April 19th – 21st weekend :facepunch:

We highly encourage guests to secure their tickets in advance, which helps with planning and directly improves guest experiences! That said, we do accept donations at the gate upon entry, and so long as we aren’t at site capacity, you should have no problem getting a day-of ticket.

Absolutely! As an early ticket holder, you will receive festival email notifications when new vendors, promos, contests, and other announcements are made. Secure your ticket early to take advantage of these fantastic benefits.

Yes! We are working on an honor system at the gate and while the tickets make our lives easier it’s totally okay if you can’t grab a ticket until the day you come or you need to change the date that you attend.

Absolutely! You’re welcome to come and go as you please, no entry pass required for re-entry. Whether you’re stepping out for a bit of quiet or to fetch something you forgot, returning is as easy as walking back in. Enjoy the festival at your own pace, and soak in all the fun, food, and festivities on your terms!

General Event FAQs

The event is conveniently located near downtown Langley at the KPU Langley campus. There is parking on-site but it fills up fast! We ask that if you’re able to, please consider using the free shuttle service.

The site is also only a 15 minute walk from the Langley Centre bus loop. If you’d rather save your walking energy for once you’re on site, the Timms community center is only 5 minutes from the bus loop and the free shuttle service is running pick up and drop offs from there.

Guests will vote for their favourite truck using the QR code poll linked around the site. Votes will be tallied up online and on Sunday April 21st at approximately 3pm we will announce the coveted People’s Choice Winner!

Awards will also be given for 2024’s best:
Meat Sweats, Best international, Best Between 2 Buns, Best Classic, Sweetest Treat & Best In Show.

We operate rain and shine! We’ve got you covered with big seating tents to help keep you dry as you enjoy your favourite meals. Pack your rain boots & umbrella and get ready for when the rainbow pops up, it makes for an incredible photo backdrop!

You asked – they listened! Many trucks now offer vegetarian, vegan, and GF menus. There’s even an award for the best vegetarian/plant-based dish that will be announced on Sunday. Check the event menus for more details on truck-specific options.

Food Truck Wars is a family-friendly event open to attendees of all ages! We have activities and food options that cater to everyone, from the young to the young at heart.

Beyond eating your way through more than 45 fantastic food trucks, our festival offers a vibrant mix of activities and entertainment. Catch live music on the main stage or enjoy the unique talents at the busker tent. Wander through the BC Shop Local artisan market to discover local crafts and goods. There’s also roaming entertainment to keep you amused, a special kid zone for the little ones, and a site-wide beverage garden for refreshing drinks.

Yes, the event is dog-cat-pet-friendly. We even have some pet vendors on site handing out sample snacks for your furry friends.

Please make sure your dog is leashed at all times and you bring supplies to clean up after them. Also be aware that some of our guests may not love dogs the same way you do so any misbehaved animals will be required to leave the site. Thanks for keeping it a safe space for all!

While we encourage you to explore and enjoy the wide variety of food and beverages offered by our amazing food trucks, you are welcome to bring your own water bottles. However, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the event premises.
